February 2012 ~ Featured Artist ~ Pyllis Fenton

This exhibition promotes the work of Phyllis Fenton who is an experienced artist from Newport-on-Tay.

Working in Acrylic and Oil her paintings portray dramatic Scottish Landscapes as well as capturing the beauty of the local area.

February 2012 ~ Afternoon Demonstrations

Friday 17th (2 – 5pm)
Sheila Paterson will be making Window Hangings from Driftwood & washed up glass found on Newport beach. Embellished with coloured wire, and recycled beading.

Wednesday 22nd (2.30 – 5 pm)
Martina Waters will be demonstrating her skills with her ‘Drop Spindle’ and will have on show items which have been created from wool which she has spun. Her sister Samantha Charmain will accompany her and shall be demonstrating her own paper crafts.

Beginners Knitting
Learning the basics of knitting, no previous knowledge required. Pins & wool supplied. (Booking essential)

Wednesday 14th (6.30/7 – 8pm)
Beach Glass Art
Sheila Paterson will be sharing her skills and teaching how her beautiful driftwood and glass hangings are made.
